Liyu Outfit is the vision of Lidya Girma. Growing up surrounded by the colour, rhythm and craft of Habesha celebrations, she fell in love with the hand-woven tibeb and the way a single dress can carry a whole story of heritage and family.
What began as designing pieces for the people closest to her grew into Liyu Outfit — a small studio where Lidya sketches every silhouette and works hand in hand with skilled tailors. From the first measurement to the final stitch, she finishes each dress, suit and kids' outfit herself, so every customer feels both beautiful and at home in what they wear.
Today she designs for women, men, kids, couples and weddings across the diaspora — blending timeless Ethiopian and Eritrean patterns with modern, custom-fit silhouettes.
